Do we thrive for more light
In a room filled with sunbeams bouncing off its walls
Never diminishing
Never disappearing
Even at night?

Do we thirst for more light
In a palace of prisms that play with starlight
So accustomed!
Not knowing the
Meaning of darkness.

Will we ever love light
If we grow up among torches and suns
Believing they will burn forever,
Not fearing the dark
Basking in innocence?

Very well thought , we are always surrounded by lights still we look for more !? We are not aware of darkness in real sense unknowingly basking in innocence …๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Thank you! Actually inspired by a quote by Harper Lee:
โ€œUntil I feared I would lose it, I never loved to read. One does not love breathing.โ€ And made me realise we donโ€™t love things unless weโ€™re scared for them..
